Buddy Boy is a 5 year old Great Pyrenees/Lab mix adopted from Pet Pal in April of 2021.

From his family: "Buddy Boy is human’s best friend. He hasn’t met a human he doesn’t like. He lives up to the Pyrenees in him in that he is my guardian and nothing, imaginary or otherwise, gets by him.

I adopted Buddy Boy less than two weeks after having to put down my previous dog who got cancer in his lungs. Walking through PetPal kennel, all the dogs were very excited and barking and asking me to pick them, pick them. I had been watching their website for a week or so and as I made it to the end and came back up the other side, in the last kennel, there was Buddy Boy, quiet as a house mouse and just sitting there staring at me. He wasn’t on the site and as luck had it, he had just cleared their medical assessments, etc., that an animal goes through after intake. I took him for a walk and sat with him for a spell getting to know him. While that was happening, I got a call from Honor Thy Pet that Gordon’s remains were ready to come home. With that, I knew Gordon had a paw in connecting me and Buddy Boy and the rest is history!
